(3) This course is an introduction to the theory of operation, maintenance, and repair of the internal combustion engine. Some of the areas of study will be: engine construction, lubrication systems, cooling systems, air supply systems, fuel supply systems, exhaust systems, ignition systems, and emission control systems. Engine diagnosis and service procedures will also be studied. Requisites: PR, TECS 120.
