(3) Students in this course will study internetworking services that reside in the upper layers of the OSI model, and advanced concepts not included in Network Architecture and Data Communications I. Topics may include but are not limited to: Internetwork Design, Internetwork Security, Synchronous Optical Network (SONET), Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Point to Point Protocol, advanced routing protocols, and other Internetworking services. Requisites: PR, INT 680 or PERM.
