(3) This course covers the theory of quantitative analytic techniques specific to spatially referenced data sets as well as practical applications of those techniques to solve real-world problems. Topics include spatial statistics, spatial regression and periodicity, measures of spatial concentration and dispersion, interpolation techniques, and kriging. Requisites: PR: MATH 250 and GSCI 240 and PERM.
