The scientific method is applied to social phenomena: formulating and testing hypotheses, techniques for collecting data, measuring social variables, interpreting research findings. The scientific method as applied to social sciences will be explored in the latter part of the course through student participation in the design and analysis of a survey. Prerequisite: SOCI 201 & PSYC 396. 3-0-3
