The process of reseach utilizing the scientific method will be studied. Research methods in human and physical geography are discussed and critiqued. Methodologies including literature searches, topic selection and refinment, and research problem solving will be discussed. A proposal for a research project will be selected or assigned, a propasal written, and an oral presentation of the proposed research will be made.
