The process of research will be studied from the scientific method through the process of writing a scientific proposal. Construction of a technical paper and the technical oral presentation will be examined and practiced. Usages of geologic terms will be explained and learned. A proposal for a research project will be selected or assigned, a proposal written and an oral presentation of the proposed research will be made.
