This course requires the application of theroretical concepts relative to the provision of health care to the adult and older client within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner. Group discussions will provide the opportunity for student learning synthesis while incorporating transcultural strategies for the client, family and community. A total of 180 hourse of clinical experience in a rural/urban ambulatory primary care setting providing care to the adult and older population is required.
