Calculus of polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, radical, and rational functions; limits and continuity; derivatives of functions; difference quotient; differential equations; indefinite integrals; definite integrals; Fundamental Theorem of Calculus; approximating derivatives and integrals using technology; solving applications in business and science. Graphing calculator required - see course syllabus for details. Credit towards mathematics requirements not granted for both MATH 1810 and MATH 1910. (Prerequisite: Two years of high school algebra and one year of high school geometry. MATH 1710 or high school advanced math recommended.) Three hours per week. F,S
