Microbiology is the study of organisms too small to be seen with the naked eye. Despite their small size, these organisms are ubiquitous and play important roles in human health, industry, and the functioning of ecosystems. This course is designed to cover a wide range of material in lecture and through laboratory exercises, introducing students to the breadth of microbial diversity and physiology, as well as the basic techniques used in microbiology. 3R, 3L.
