Description:

Prerequisite: MATH 130 (grade of “C” ). A highly mathematical problem solving algebra/trigonometry based physics course. Topics include review of vector analysis. Newtonian mechanics, fluids and, thermodynamics. Laboratories are designed to enhance lecture topics with attention to safe use of equipment, statistical analysis of data, and the acquisition of skills required in scientific processes. Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 3 hours. (Laboratory fee required) This course cannot be challenged.
