Prerequisite: MATH 111 (grade of āCā or better) or departmental permission. This course provides the student with a thorough preparation for the Calculus sequence. Topics include study of exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, inverse functions, trigonometry and trigonometric identities, conic sections, and polar coordinates. Additional topics, including the binomial theorem, mathematical induction, and sequences and series may be covered as time permits.
