Prerequisites: BIOL 141-142 and any course in human anatomy or human physiology. Morphological, cultural, and physiological properties of bacteria and related organisms are studied. Emphasis is placed on micro-organisms which relate to normal and pathological conditions in man and his environment. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. (Laboratory fee required) This course cannot be challenged.
