Prerequisite: Permission of the Education department. This course is designed to develop process skills in the biological sciences for students seeking certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. The course format includes content, applications and methodology to meet the South Carolina life science standards for grades K - 8. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. (Laboratory fee required). This course will not be applied towards a major in Biology. This course cannot be challenged.
