This ?Capstone Course? is a study of strategic planning. The importance of environment scanning and identifying strategic factors in external and internal environments are stressed. Course examines the present state of the national economy, the impact of stakeholders in the task environment, common methods of portfolio analysis, and possible significance of technological change to individual firms and entire industries. Individual research or case analysis is required. Prerequisite: Senior standing.
