This course is designed to provide junior psychology students with basic counseling techniques used particularly by transactional analysis, client-centered theory, existential counseling, rational emotion therapy and others. Emphasis will be placed on the philosophical approach and techniques basic to individual as well as group counseling techniques and conditions. Prerequisites: PSY 1200 and junior or senior standing.
