Description:
This course involves the study of the properties of carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acids, and the reactions they undergo. Experimental work will introduce the chemical and physical properties of selected biological molecules. Three one-hour lecture/ discussion sessions and one four-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisites: CHM 2402 and BIO 1801.
