Prerequisites: Swim 75 feet underwater, perform survival float 20 minutes, tow an inert swimmer 50 yards, swim 400 yards in less than 10 minutes, permission of instructor only. This is an opportunity to learn safe skin- and scuba-diving skills. N.A.U.I. and Y.M.C.A. certification are available upon successful completion of course work plus additional open water tests. Additional fee is charged.
