This course is designed to develop an understanding of the physiological, social, and emotional changes which accompany the aging process. Emphasis is placed on evaluation of physical, sensory, motor, and cognitive changes which accompany aging. Special attention is paid to developing programs for the elderly in exercise, prevention of falling, improvements in strength, and sense of well-being.
