Prerequisite: Students must be admitted to the Nursing Program. Focuses on community as client and the factors necessary to define and describe the client and assess community. Basic principles of the study, prevention, and control of diseases that impact a community will be discussed. Use of the nursing process to plan care for the community will be explored. (NUR 414 must be taken concurrently.)
