Prerequisite: Students must be admitted to the Nursing Program. Focuses on the use of the nursing process to provide secondary preventive care in a variety of community-based settings to children experiencing health problems as a result of stressors. The impact of illness/disease on the development of children from infancy through adolescence will be evaluated. Psychomotor skills are learned and practiced in a skills laboratory prior to performance in a community-based setting. (NUR 325 must be taken concurrently.)
