Prerequisite: Students must be admitted to the Nursing Program. Focuses on the use of the nursing process to design therapeutic nursing interventions for clients experiencing psychosocial stressors. Emphasis is on the development of the therapeutic self which is used with individuals and groups in a variety of community-based settings to enhance the communication process and facilitate intervention strategies of a psychosocial nature. (NUR 312 must be taken concurrently.)
