Prerequisites: associate-degree-level calculus, statics, and strength of materials courses or MET 300, and MTT 300. Displacement, velocity and acceleration of particles and rigid bodies with combined translation and rotation. Reaction and inertia forces and mass and polar moments of inertia. Analysis by equations of motion, force-acceleration, work-energy, and impulse-momentum. Conservative and non-conservative forces and moments. Free and forced vibrations, natural frequency, and fundamentals of damping and vibration isolation.
