Prerequisites: GET 320, GET 321. Corequisites: GET 430, GET 431, or EET 440, EET 441. Continued study of the technology, methods, and practices of robotics and mechatronics, with emphasis on robots in computer integrated manufacturing. Topics include drive systems, control techniques, path control, end-of-arm tooling, automation sensors, and machine vision. Laboratory projects include sensor testing, experiments with actuators and mechanisms, control scheme simulations, projects and case study problems. Technical Elective.
