Prerequisites: GEO 100 and GEO 323, which may be taken concurrently with GEO 312, or permission of the instructor. Co-requisite: GEO 313. This is the study of the origin, dispersal, deposition, and lithification of sediments; variation of sedimentary parameters; discussions of facies, correlation, use of sedimentary structures, and paleographic reconstruction; and regional stratigraphy of North America.
