Prerequisite: FRN 301 and sophomore standing or permission of instructor. This is a description of the French sound system and study of the phonetic alphabet and its usage. It includes extensive practice in pronunciation in class and in the Instructional Media Laboratory. It is required for majors seeking teaching licensure. This is a Linguistic Studies Course.
