Prerequisites: Prior online application to the Office of Field Services and successful completion of Portfolio Checkpoint #3, course prerequisites listed on checklist including EST 371 with a grade of B or higher; 2.50 cumulative GPA; 2.50 GPA in each content area; 2.75 professional GPA.EDB 400may be taken before or concurrently with EST 481.This course involves placement five full days a week for one semester in an upper-elementary, middle-, or junior-high school classroom observing and teaching under the direction of a mentor teacher and a university supervisor ; it includes a seminar. This course is required for middle childhood teaching license.
