This is an exploration of issues related to assessment, curriculum theory, Individualized Education Program development, and academic and behavioral approaches for individuals with emotional disturbance or multiple disabilities. Emphasis is placed on teaching academic skills, and social and emotional behaviors. It is required for licensure as an Intervention Specialist for students with moderate/intensive educational needs.
