Prerequisites: EDB 200, EDB 300, EDB 301, EDB 302, EDB 305, EDL 305, and oral competency in the target language; must be taken concurrently with EDC 313 and EST 374. This course involves consideration and evaluation of the philosophy, practices, and problems of teaching modern foreign languages and cultures at the elementary level.Emphasis is placed on integration of Standards and assessment with lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation; age-appropriate materials and practices; and advocacy.
