Prerequisite: ART 102. This is an introduction to computer design using a Macintosh platform. The course begins by developing an understanding of the current Macintosh operating system, and with a brief introduction of technical issues related to using the computer for design purposes. The remainder of the course is devoted to studying the industry standard page layout, illustration, and photo alteration software (InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop). The course requires a materials fee.
