This course emphasizes concepts that will be utilized for a student nurse to progress into the role of a professional licensed registered nurse. The course examines professional practice criteria and requirements. This includes examination of the professional role of nursing, with an emphasis on multiple strategies for success in taking professional examinations, such as NCLEX-RN. This course is offered the second semester of the senior year. This course is offered in 1.5 credit hours of didactic content and 1.5 credit hours of on-line content.
