GER 101 - Elementary German I

Designed for students with little or no prior experience with German. Introduction to the basic principles of language necessary for written and oral communication. Students use fundamental vocabulary and grammar structures to talk about daily life and gain insights into aspects of German culture through simple readings and Internet activities. Students who took the language in high school for more than one year MUST take the language placement test before registering for this or any other language course in order to receive proper credit.
