CLASS HOURS: 3, CREDIT: 3 Prerequisites: ME 230, ME 232, MTH 211 Application of stress and strain in design and analysis of simple structural members under load. Stresses and deformations in members with a single load in tension, torsion, shear or bending moment are analyzed, followed by the transformation of stresses and effects of combined loads. The analysis of statically indeterminate structures is also included.
