LAB HOURS: 3, CREDIT: 1 Prerequisites: DL 100, DL 105, DL 105L, pass swimming assessment test or PE 100 Practical experience in shiphandling with vessels large enough to gain an appreciation for ship-handling problems encountered with much larger vessels. Participants are exercised in "soft" landings, emergency procedures, mooring techniques and line handling, and collision avoidance.
