LAB HOURS: 2, CREDIT: 1 Prerequisite: Pass swimming assessment test or PE 100 Corequisite: DL 105L (the first time) Students receive hands-on training in basic personal and group survival techniques. Through a combination of multiple pool sessions and actual operation of survival craft, students will be given the skills required for the practical section of the U.S. Coast Guard Lifeboatman's Endorsement. This course conforms to STCW requirements for personal survival training as well as components of the social responsibility requirement. Graded: Credit/No Credit
