CLASS HOURS: 3, CREDIT: 3 Prerequisites: BUS 300, MGT 340, TRA 300 The class will provide a general overview of the process of importing and exporting, taking the perspective of any entrepreneur starting an import/export business. Topics discussed will include theories of trade, globalization, export sales marketing companies and other intermediaries, documentary credits, packaging, INCO terms of sales, and NAFTA. This is a project-oriented course centered on "capstone" papers, which may be done independently or with a team.
