CLASS HOURS: 3, CREDIT: 3 Prerequisites: Upper Division Standing or consent of instructor. MGT 205 and MGT 350 are recommended. This highly interactive seminar introduces students to the fundamentals of negotiation and to the cultural factors that affect the negotiation process. Issues covered in the course include negotiation strategies at the individual and group level, techniques for overcoming difficult negotiations, third-party intervention, crisis negotiation, making deals across cultures, and managing conflict in multicultural teams.
