CLASS HOURS: 3, CREDIT: 3 Prerequisite: BUS 300 This course focuses on the management challenge of developing strategies, designing organizations, and managing companies whose activities span national boundaries. Issues covered in the course include the management of conflicting demands between home office and local units, development of coordination and control, and the creation and leveraging of knowledge. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of the management challenges involved in cross-cultural collaboration and in building competencies and competitive advantage in transnational enterprises.
