This is an introductory mathematics course for the liberal arts curriculum. The purpose of this course is to develop conceptual understanding of the tools and language of mathematics and the ability to reason using them in today's contemporary world. Topics include street networks, producing and describing data, number and bar codes, weighted voting and apportionment, social choices and linear programming applications.
