The practicum is offered at a distance and enables students, who work in or do extensive volunteering in an early childhood education setting, to earn credits for this experience. A minimum of 500 hours will be required and must be completed in one setting prior to applying for the practicum credits and completing the assessment process. Your supervisor at your work/volunteer setting will need to verify your responsibilities and comment on your work. Charter Oak will assign a faculty consultant with whom you will need to conference by telephone and who will grade your practicum paper.
