This course provides the student with an introductory knowledge of the Taft-Hartley Act, the Wagner Act, the Landrum Griffin Act, labor contract grievance procedures, unfair labor practices, labor arbitration, the rule of Past Practice, steward/supervisory conduct in the administration of the grievance procedure, the disciplinary process, the 7 tests of Just Cause, elements of insubordination, the collective bargaining process, and labor relations communication skills.
