This introductory course covers fundamental elements of the legal system as they affect businesses. The course uses professional negligence as the vehicle for demonstrating the system of judicial precedent. Business Law proceeds to look at the essentials of establishing and performing simple contracts and the remedies available in the event of a breach. The course looks at the essential characteristics of the various forms of business relationships, and proceeds into the nature or property, instruments and devises.
