Strongly recommended: READ 099 if required by reading placement exam or if required by reading level. A beginning level performance class with an introduction to the Stanislavski Method of acting. Provides a foundation in acting through a study of improvisation, vocal technique, historical concepts, and theory through scene and monologue work. This course may be taken four times. 54 lecture hours, 36 lab hours arranged.
