Two semester sequence of instruction that takes place in a human service organization in the community wherein students demonstrate, under the auspices of a certified field instructor, their ability to apply the knowledge, practical skills, critical thinking/reasoning abilities, and interpersonal communication skills required of undergraduate level social workers. Students must provide their own transportation to and from field sites and purchase malpractice insurance through the Division of Social Work. Prerequisite: SWRK 195A and permission of the Field Director (or designee). Corequisite: SWRK 140C. Graded: Credit / No Credit. Units: 6.0
