Familiarizes students with digital product development using Pro/ENGINEER and Working Model. Emphasis is on Pro/ENGINEER philosophy of parametric design. Also covers component and assembly design, basic drawing creation, and kinematic simulation using Working Model. Team product design project investigating the effects of variations in geometry, dimensions, and material selection. Lecture two hours; laboratory three hours. Prerequisite: ENGR 6, ME 105 and ME 116. Graded: Graded Student. Units: 3.0
