Designed to provide Kinesiology majors in the physical education concentration with knowledge, skills, practice and sound strategies for successfully participating and teaching in aquatic activities. Instruction will focus on performance, analysis, methods of teaching and evaluation of skills utilized in aquatic activities, including swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, water aerobics, and water games. Note: Successful completion of swim test: ability to swim 500 yards and tread water for two minutes. Corequisite: KINS 138. Graded: Graded Student. Units: 1.0
