Provides senior level undergraduates with hands-on experience in optical engineering and design . Experiments involving laser characteristics, spectral radiometry, diffraction, polarization, modulation of light, holography and spatial filtering will be performed. Laboratory three hours. Prerequisite: EEE 161, EEE 180, EEE 165; EEE 165 may be taken concurrently, and GWAR certification before Fall 09, WPJ score of 70+, or at least a C- in ENGL 109 M/W. Graded: Graded Student.
