Explores the creative potential of digital imaging and multimedia art making techniques. Teaching methods will include hands on demonstrations, lab workshops, creative projects, reading assignments, seminars, discussion and critiques. The development of technical fluency will be stressed, and the creative potential of digital media within the framework of contemporary art, design and culture will be emphasized. Fee course. Note: Proficiency in MAC-OS recommended. May be taken for credit three times. Prerequisite: ART 97, or equivalent experience, such as PHOT 11, Introduction to Digital Imaging. Graded: Graded Student.
