Prerequisite: BIOL 121 with a minimum grade of “C-” or BIOL 100 or BIOL 102 with a minimum grade of “B-”; or consent of instructor This course includes lecture presentations in the identification, naming and classification of higher plants. The laboratory will focus on acquiring skills in plant identification with an emphasis on the fora of Massachusetts. Three hours of lecture and one three-hour laboratory period weekly.
