Prerequisites: ACCT 2010, 2020 with a minimum grade of "C" in each; Junior standing; Business majors must also meet the BBA admission requirements Description: In-depth coverage of principles, techniques, and challenges of modern cost accounting and cost management used within organizations for planning, control, and decision-making from a strategic perspective. Topics of current interest include: job order and process costing, cost behavior, joint and by-product cost allocation, activity-based costing, variable costing, budgeting, standard costing systems, variance analysis, performance measurement, and quality control.
