This course, taught by practitioners John Clavin (BC `84) and Richard Powers (BC'67) provides Boston College students with an excellent opportunity to explore the functional disciplines of business from a real world perspective. Using a combination of lectures, case studies, readings and outside speakers, the course provides students the opportunity to get grounded in each of these disciplines as well as get some outside views on careers in each of these areas. The course will also provide students a framework to explore and discuss cross-functional issues that effect business strategy and execution.
